Compliance with Trust Steel will enable fabricators and manufacturer members to demonstrate that they meet and, in many cases, exceed competence requirements in areas including Health & Safety, Quality, Environmental and so on.
Certification to Trust Steel standards will also give clients and insurance companies confidence that by selecting a Trust Steel certified member, they are choosing a company with the right competence, capability, and credentials to safely and reliably take on and complete a project.
The assessment process is still being developed and will be launched around mid-2024 but it is envisioned that it will start with completing a questionnaire which will include headings like Identity, Corporate and Professional Standing, Health & Safety, Target Market, Capacity & Resources, Standards, Culture, Staff and Qualifications / Experience, Environmental, Quality, Equality, Corporate & Social Responsibility, Information Security & GDPR and Information Management Systems.
Once the assessments have been complete and certification has been granted (or denied until improvements have been made), the certificate will be issued.
The successful applicants will be included in marketing material that will be created and distributed by us promoting those companies to their target markets. Certification to Trust Steel will be such a prestigious accolade, certified businesses will be immediately elevated right to the top of the industry with a huge competitive advantage supported by Irish Steel’s promotion of the member’s brand.
