Held at the Midlands Park Hotel last October, this inaugural event attracted over 280 industry professionals where we had a great time mixing, mingling, learning, and creating business opportunities over the course of the event before celebrating the many achievements and innovation that goes on behind the scenes in the business of metalworking.
There were 23 Award Categories in total – the “Finished Project” category recognised achievements on the factory floor and on-site whereas the “Extra Mile” category recognised achievements in business, innovation and other functions of business management.
The award trophy itself was designed & manufactured wholly in Ireland – the design drew influence from some of the metal sections that are used every day by most of our members in their everyday work. It was partially cast and fabricated from solid bronze which was finished with a beautiful aged green patina.
The trophies and the award ceremony have set a new standard for recognising and promoting excellence in our industry.
