Use the controls below to change how Irish Steel uses optional information and how the app contacts you.
Website cookies
Necessary storage keeps the site secure and remembers your choice. Google Analytics remains off unless you enable it.
Member directory and contact details
In the app, open Profile → Account & Privacy to control directory listing, visible company details, email, phone and whether other members can message you. Hidden details remain available to authorised Irish Steel staff where needed to administer membership.
Messages, mute and block
Open a conversation or member profile to mute a chat, mute a member, block them or report content. Blocking prevents direct contact but does not erase messages already shared with conversation participants.
Push notifications
Use the app's notification settings to choose categories. Device settings can disable all Irish Steel notifications. Disabling notifications does not remove in-app messages or service records.
Delete the app account
Open Profile → Account & Privacy → Delete account. The app requires confirmation before permanent deletion. App-account deletion does not cancel an organisational membership, booking, invoice or certification record.
Access, correction, export and objections
Email hello@irishsteel.ie with the request and the email address connected to your account. Do not send identity documents unless we ask for a specific verification step.
