The Story
Designed to LEED Gold/BER A3 standard, not only are we proud to have delivered top of class warehouse spec's for our client , a unique feature of Evergreen Business Park itself is the 4 acres of retained Irish native woodland located at the south of the site. This consists of a mix of existing mature plus newly planted native woodland.
By retaining and actively managing this area, the annual carbon offset is 9 tonnes per annum which is sufficient to offset the carbon generated by the ongoing operation of the common areas of the Business Park, making Evergreen a truly sustainable business location.
Evergreen Business Park will also be Cork’s first business park where the buildings are designed to target LEED Gold standard accreditation, a barometer for healthy, efficient, carbon savings and cost-efficient green buildings. Sustainability features are at the forefront of the design, construction, and occupation of each individual building.
"In my opinion, this is the finest warehouse project completed in recent times in Ireland. Looking outside of our scope of works, which we feel was delivered to best in class and quality, the finish of the Park itself and its sustainable mindset from concept is a credit to all on the project team but especially JCD. I believe the photos included below will speak more then words could on this occasion."

Ryan Structural Steel Services Ltd
This project deserves to win because Ryan Structural Steel created a scalable system of template-based cutting, precision bracketry, and modular fixings that could ensure alignment, air and water sealing, and structural stability across complex façade geometries. The ambition was to enable tight construction tolerances while also allowing for differential thermal movement between the dissimilar materials of steel, glass, and composite cladding.
