The Story
Shevlin Engineering undertook a significant project involving the structural steelwork for four schools: Stapolin, Ashbourne, Laytown, and Belmayne. This project, totaling 300 tonnes of steel, was a joint venture between OHLA and OHMG, with Shevlin Engineering serving as the Structural Steel Subcontractor.
Our responsibilities included detailing, fabricating, and erecting the roof structures with purlins, as well as the curtain wall steel and canopies. Notably, all four schools ran concurrently in terms of the program, requiring seamless coordination and efficient resource management to meet the timelines.
The project was a testament to our expertise and ability to manage and execute large-scale structural steel projects simultaneously, ensuring quality and precision throughout the process.
