Tusker employs 150 direct employees and has evolved through the sectors of construction to Groundworks, Steel Fabrication, Haulage, and Crane Hire, and now includes the circular economy. This includes a bespoke one-to-one experience of design fabrication installation and commissioning of our Waste Recycling equipment along with support and 24/7 service to our loyal customers.

The project we are putting forward for this award is a complete consultation, design, and installation for our valued and esteemed client Beauparc Group. Their busy Waste Recycling facility in Bournemouth required increased throughput with Zero downtime and this is where Tusker exceled.

The design stage has seen vigorous one-to-one consultation to ensure the client's goal of reducing 30 hours of processing hours a week was met.

The equipment has improved the extractions fines for the MBT via two of our new T6000 trommels and 312liniar meters of our CV1200 heavy-duty conveyors all improving the quality of material to the required CV (Calorific Value) spec for the local new EFW (Energy from waste facility)

The new installation had the added benefit of producing loose material for delivery via walking floors alongside baling RDF material for export.

The waste stream included a larger magnet for the extraction of metals and a new Eddie current for the extraction of aluminum which suited our client's requirements.

Fully scheduled installation with Just in Time delivery resulted in Zero downtime across the Christmas and New Year period and did not affect the acceptance of material from 3 local authorities through the busiest time of year and we completed it on schedule.
