Prostainless Design Ltd The surface preparation and finishing of Platforms for a World leading Pharmacutical Company.

Jennblast Services is a family-owned business and has been in the surface preparation and Anti-corrosion Industry for 30 years.

We specialise in all forms of Grit, Shot, Bead or Soda Blasting in-house or on-site. We run three fully compliant paint rooms (EX Rated). We also specialize in Passive Intumescent Coatings for steel surfaces.

Four years ago, we took our business to the next level by getting accredited with EN1090, with this we now offer a more professional service to our customers and offer full digital inspection reports on each project Environmental Reports, Blast profile and Dry film Thickness reports and Certification where applicable. We have an excellent relationship with all our customers and provide advice and consultation on each job.

Jennblast Services were approached by PRO Stainless Design Ltd to advise and apply appropriate coating on 5 platforms totaling 2000sq mtr. of mild steel for a leading Pharmaceutical Company, along with our paint supplier, we commended a paint system that was in accordance with specification required,

The raw steel came to our premises, it was shot blasted to SA2.5 and was then primed with a weldable primer. The steel was transported off site for fabrication, it was then returned to be reblasted and a 2K epoxy primer was applied.

The platforms were taken offsite again for full assembly.

The steel was returned a third time for complete sanding, touch-up of damaged areas and a final 2K polyurethane Topcoat was applied and delivered to site.

During this process at each stage, Environmental reports, Blast Profile reports and Dry Film Thickness reports were taken, paint batch numbers were also recorded.
