Workplace of the Year Finalists
From the nominations received in the Workplace of the Year Award category, we have narrowed things down to the following companies; the winner will be announced on the night.
We would like to thank Cóilín Brennan & his talented team at CAST Ltd. in Dublin 8 for all the work they did to help us turn our ideas for the award into reality ...from prototyping through to tweaking numerous details, texturing, finishing & engraving.
We designed the trophies ourselves - the design was inspired by assembling a random array of metal sections widely used by fabricators across the metal fabrication industry.
The trophy profile was moulded by hand before being sand cast in two halves from molten bronze. Then the halves were welded together, linished, hand-finished, patinated & waxed before being engraved.
