We were tasked with the supply and installation of a set of contemporary steel-sheeted gates, designed with a clean, modern aesthetic.

The specification included 40mm x 40mm vertical slats, offering both structure and visual consistency. All steel components were fully galvanised to ensure long-term durability and corrosion resistance, followed by a high-quality matt black powder-coated finish for a sleek and refined appearance.

A key stage in the process involved bonding steel sheeting precisely onto the fabricated gate frames. To ensure a flawless fit and finish, we carried out a dry-fit of the sheeting prior to final bonding — allowing for any necessary adjustments before the permanent fix. This approach ensured accuracy and alignment across all gate panels.

With the sheeting now bonded and the structural elements complete, the gates are fully prepared for final installation on site, providing both functionality and a striking visual enhancement to their setting.

We think this project is worthy of an Irish Steel Award as these gates are a bespoke design and the attention to detail that went into these gates was second to none as everything had to be millimetre perfect to achieve the clean lines.
