Engineering & Fabricated Assemblies

Is your team renowned for producing highly precise, custom-engineered steel components, complex products, or critical assemblies used in demanding, high-specification environments such as cleanrooms, advanced healthcare facilities, specialist industrial plants, automotive production, or precision manufacturing sectors?

This award recognises the absolute pinnacle of quality, intricate design, expert material knowledge, and assured fitness-for-purpose in the world of fabricated steel solutions. It celebrates those who can meet exacting tolerances and deliver components that perform flawlessly in critical applications, often involving complex geometries and specialist finishes.

Who should nominate?

Companies and their skilled teams excelling in the sophisticated design, meticulous fabrication, and quality assurance of precise metal components, bespoke products, and complex engineered assemblies for specialised and critical sectors.

Eligibility & Key considerations

The work must have been substantially produced by a registered business based on the island of Ireland (the final delivered/integrated location can be outside Ireland).

Submissions must detail the exceptional precision engineering involved, the complexity of the fabrication or machining processes, appropriate material selection and sourcing, the high quality of finish achieved, and the successful real-world application and performance of your assemblies. Evidence of meeting tight tolerances and industry-leading quality standards that enhance your company’s reputation is key.

What the Judges are looking for

Quality of the end product and its precision; Innovation in design or manufacturing techniques for complex assemblies; Technical Execution and mastery of fabrication/machining; Collaboration with clients to meet exacting specifications; Uniqueness or advanced nature of the engineered solution.
